DIY: Christmas Tree Glasses

So I have this thing where I like to be kind of obnoxious sometimes. With glitter, with tack, with things that just make me happy. So my Christmas gift to you this year is a combination of all that and then some in the form of Christmas glasses.

Materials:

  • Costume Glasses
  • Glitter Foam Sheets (In Green, Red & Gold)
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scrap Paper & Pencil

Step One:

Draw out the shape of a Christmas tree, star, and some ornaments on a scrap piece of paper. Cut out your shapes and trace them onto the foam sheets. Don't forget to trace the eye holes for your glasses in the center of the trees!

Step Two:

Cut out all of your foam pieces and the eye holes on the trees. Hot glue the stars and ornaments onto the trees and then secure the trees on the glasses.

This DIY is so simple it took me all of 15 minutes to complete. It's such a fun project to get in the festive mood and would be great to do with kids. It also goes great with ugly Christmas sweaters! ;)
